Cooper Levenson is proud to support the Disability Awareness Essay Contest and would like to congratulate all of the winning and participating students. The contest was organized and sponsored by the Essex County Bar Association (ECBA) in an effort to raise awareness about children with disabilities. The ten winners are from the Newark’s Speedwell Avenue School, Newark’s Ann Street School, West Orange High School and Montclair High School.
The students will be presented their prizes and certificates by ECBA Committee members, with the first award ceremony taking place on Apr. 8 at 9:30 a.m. at Speedwell Avenue School.
The theme of the essay contest was: How Is Your Class Made Better by the Inclusion of Children with Disabilities? The primary focus of the contest was to encourage students to reach out to children living with disabilities and to raise awareness about students living with disabilities in general.
