Sheila Hughes Appointed as an Atlantic County Bar Association Trustee
ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. – Sheila F. Hughes was installed as an Atlantic County Bar Association (ACBA) Trustee on June 5. She will hold this position for a two-year term. The ACBA is dedicated to promoting the legal profession and advancing the public's trust and confidence in the civil and criminal justice system in the Atlantic County area.
Hughes is an associate in the firm’s Atlantic City office. She works with commercial and business law matters under the guidance of the firm’s Commercial Litigation partners.
Sheila served as Law Clerk to the Honorable Nelson C. Johnson in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Atlantic County. In addition, Sheila was trained by the New Jersey Judiciary to be a mediator. During her school years, she served as an intern in the Women’s Law Center of Maryland
A graduate of Loyola College (B.A. 2003) and University of Dayton School of Law (J.D. 2007), she was admitted to practice in New Jersey in 2007. Sheila is a member of the Vincent S. Hanemann Inn of Court and the Atlantic County Bar Association.
