Unpublished Opinions

Cooper Levenson has long maintained an appeals department which concentrates its practice on appeals at the state and federal level. In response to many requests, we have made available copies of some of the most significant opinions we have received in cases which we have handled on appeal. Reported decisions are available in the official reports and through services such as LEXIS or WESTLAW. Most decisions from the Appellate Division are unreported, however, and are therefore not necessarily controlling precedent. They may still be instructive however, and are often excellent sources of information. The majority of the cases posted herein are unreported in the official reports and are provided here for educational purposes. A short synopsis is provided for each case to assist in locating pertinent materials.
