Lucas Levenson is a seasoned gaming attorney, based in the firm’s Atlantic City office.
He focuses on multistate gaming licensing, regulatory analysis, and compliance-related drafting, while maintaining strong relationships with state gaming agency and tribal commission personnel across the country. Lucas’s knowledge covers all gaming derivatives, including sports wagering, lotteries, sweepstakes, social casinos, and esports. Â
In addition to his responsibilities with the Casino & iGaming practice group, Lucas is a member of the firm’s Criminal Defense practice group, while also assisting in various real estate, commercial litigation, and corporate law matters.
Lucas graduated from of Drew University with a B.A. in Finance and minor in Religious Studies. He earned his Juris Doctor from Rutgers Law School.
Lucas is admitted to practice in New Jersey.
Before moving to private practice, Lucas worked for various companies in the gaming industry, including as a financial analyst with a land-based casino and a compliance analyst with a sports wagering company.
He interned with the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office and served as a Law Clerk for the Honorable James P. Savio, Atlantic County Superior Court, NJ.
Lucas has assisted clients with operational launches in over a dozen states and tribal jurisdictions, gaining various approvals is several places, including:

Lucas volunteered with the Atlantic City Boys and Girls Club in Atlantic City and previously coached basketball at Atlantic City High School.
Lucas routinely attends and appears on panels at the Global Gaming Expo (G2E), International Casinos Exhibition (ICE), East Coast Gaming Congress (ECGC), Casino Esports Conference (CEC), Sports Betting Conference (SBC) Summits, and National Council of Legislators from Gaming States (NCLGS).
