Cooper Levenson’s Sheila F. Hughes has received top honors from the Atlantic County Bar Association. The Association presented Hughes with the Benjamin A. Rimm Award for Outstanding Young Lawyer of the Year. The award, given in memory of Judge Benjamin A. Rimm, is presented to a young lawyer who exemplifies his qualities: personal and professional integrity, devotion to the legal profession and dedication to the people of Atlantic County.
An associate in the firm’s Atlantic City office, Sheila F. Hughes handles commercial and business law matters. She also works with the firm’s Maritime Law group assisting various clients involved in commercial fishing, recreational boating, marina, and marine construction industries on a wide range of issues related to maritime law and litigation. Admitted to practice law in New Jersey in 2007, Hughes is a past chair and a current trustee of the Atlantic County Bar Association’s Young Lawyer’s Division. She is a founding member of SoPro AC, an emerging social professional networking organization in the Greater Atlantic City region. She is a resident of Atlantic City, N.J.
