Our commitment to community service is rooted in the legacy of our founder, Jim Cooper. Jim believed deeply that no child should ever go hungry — a belief that led him to help establish Let Us Eat, Please, a food distribution program serving thousands of local families whose children lose access to school meals during the summer. Today, our firm continues to honor his vision by supporting summer food deliveries and fundraising efforts to fight food insecurity across South Jersey.
At Cooper Levenson, community involvement isn’t a box we check — it’s part of who we are. From mentoring students to supporting local nonprofits, organizing food drives, and serving on boards across the region, our team shows up where it matters most.
We believe that strong communities are built through consistent action, meaningful partnerships, and a willingness to roll up our sleeves. Every month, you’ll find our attorneys and staff volunteering, fundraising, mentoring, speaking, and supporting the organizations that strengthen South Jersey and beyond.
Whether we’re feeding families, mentoring the next generation, supporting the arts, or strengthening local nonprofits, we remain committed to helping our communities thrive.
Our service is ongoing, evolving, and driven by the belief that when we take care of our neighbors, everyone benefits.
