COOPER LEVENSON ATTORNEY FEATURED AS PANEL SPEAKER AT CANNABIS, PSYCHEDELICS LAW SYMPOSIUM MARCH 12

Brittany A. Bonetti, Esq., of Cooper Levenson Attorneys at Law, will be among the presenters at the 7th Annual Cannabis and Psychedelics Law Symposium on March 12 at the New Jersey Law Center in New Brunswick.

Bonetti, a partner in the firm’s Atlantic City and Cherry Hill offices and a member of its Healthcare, Cannabis, and Tax Law Practice Groups, will be part of a 2:20 p.m. panel discussing “Hemp 2025 – The Feds, State, Courts, And Path Forward.” 

The panel will summarize and describe action by the federal government regarding the Farm Bill, recent statutory amendments in New Jersey regarding state law pertaining to hemp and intoxicating hemp products, and the current challenge to this state action by plaintiffs-appellants in the 3rd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals case Loki Brands v. Platkin.

The panel will also discuss the path forward for hemp at the federal and state levels. If time permits, the panelists will take questions from attendees.

The symposium is presented in cooperation with the NJSBA Cannabis and Psychedelics Law Committee and the NJSBA Health Law Section

Bonetti graduated from George Washington University, Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in 2010. She received her Master’s degree in Public Health from the Rutgers School of Public Health with a concentration in Health Systems and Policy.
