Atlantic City, NJ – May 1, 2026 – The Boys & Girls Club of Atlantic City will honor Kenneth J. Calemmo, Jr., Chief Operating Officer of Cooper Levenson, at the 20th Annual “Let’s Get Cookin’,” a signature fundraising event supporting the organization’s mission of empowering local youth.
The milestone celebration will take place on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, from 6–8 p.m. at the Island Waterpark at Showboat Resort in Atlantic City. The evening brings together community leaders, chefs, and supporters for a gourmet tasting and culinary competition, with all proceeds benefiting programs that serve children and families across Atlantic City.
Calemmo has long been a dedicated supporter of both the Boys & Girls Club and broader regional initiatives aimed at strengthening South Jersey communities. As COO of Cooper Levenson, he oversees the firm’s multi-state operations and has played a significant role in aligning business leadership with community impact throughout the region.
Beyond his professional responsibilities, Calemmo has been deeply involved in economic development and charitable initiatives across South Jersey. His leadership includes service on regional boards, as well as his role as Chair of the Chelsea Economic Development Corporation, where he supports neighborhood revitalization efforts in Atlantic City. He has also been long involved in initiatives such as “Let Us Eat, Please,” which provides meals to families in need, along with broader efforts focused on Atlantic City revitalization and youth programming.
“Let’s Get Cookin’” marks its 20th anniversary this year, celebrating two decades of “Feeding Great Futures” for Atlantic City youth. The event features local chefs and amateur competitors showcasing creative culinary offerings, with guests enjoying tastings, raffles, and a digital recipe keepsake. Proceeds directly support the Boys & Girls Club’s after-school programs, mentorship opportunities, and youth development initiatives.
