Cooper Levenson’s Russell Lichtenstein Named to the New Jersey Super Lawyer list* for 10th Consecutive Year

He has also been designated by the New Jersey Supreme Court as a Certified Civil Trial Attorney for over 17 years. Less than 2% of New Jersey attorneys have achieved this prestigious certification. Additionally, Lichtenstein has been certified by the National Board of Trial Advocacy as a Certified Trial Advocate, another distinguished certification possessed by less than 4% of attorneys nationwide. Lichtenstein has been named one of New Jersey’s “Top Attorneys” in the employment litigation field by New Jersey Monthly magazine in each year that they have made that designation.

As a litigator, Lichtenstein regularly appears in the state and federal courts of New Jersey and before various agencies that address employment related matters. Lichtenstein is also lead trial counsel representing the firm’s casino clients in a wide variety of matters. Before joining Cooper Levenson in 1983, Lichtenstein served with distinction as an Assistant Prosecutor with the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office.

He is active in many civic and charitable organizations and formerly served as the President of the Jersey Shore Council of the Boy Scouts of America. Lichtenstein resides with his family in the Beesley’s Point section of Upper Township.
