Jarad K. Stiles

Jarad is a member of the firm’s Corporate Tax, Business Law, Estate Planning & Administration, and Bankruptcy & Financial Restructuring practice groups.
He has extensive experience in tax law, trusts and estates, asset protection, tax controversy, special needs planning, and elder law.
Jarad is admitted to practice law in New Jersey, New York, and the United States Tax Court.
As a member of the Tax Law and Estate Planning & Administration, and Bankruptcy & Financial Restructuring practice groups at Cooper Levenson, Jarad puts his extensive experience in tax law to work.
Jarad works on large transactions representing both sellers and buyers. He has obtained millions of dollars of tax credits for clients and has been involved in work on mergers and acquisitions.
Jarad also resolved tax compliance issues to maintain a foundation’s 501 (c)(3) status and advises clients on comprehensive estate and asset protection plans limiting state, local, and federal tax liability.
His focus includes significant work helping businesses secure lines of credit, grants, and other emergency funding through federal and state programs such as the Paycheck Protection Program and EIDL programs, to remain in operation during the global pandemic.
He works with clients to keep them up to date on emerging tax credits and grants as well as employee retention credits.
Jarad holds a J.D./LL.M. degree in Taxation from the Washington University School of Law, St. Louis, Mo. He earned a B.B.A. degree in Finance and a B.A. degree in Government from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Va.
