Katlin Trout is an associate in the firm and a member of the Labor Law and Casino and Hospitality Industry Defense Litigation Practice Groups. She is based in the Atlantic City office. Katlin focuses on the defense of negligence, premises liability, and personal injury as well as on all aspects of labor law and litigation.
Prior to joining Cooper Levenson, Katlin served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Donna M. Taylor in the Atlantic County Superior Court – Criminal Division.
Katlin was a Summer Associate in the firm in 2020, assisting various departments including Casino Defense, Tax, Estate Planning, and Education Law.
Katlin serves on the Atlantic County Mental Health Advisory Board, a volunteer board that serves as an advocate and advisor to the Division of Mental Health and Addiction Services. Katlin also serves on the Cooper Levenson Foundation Scholarship Committee, formed to grant scholarships to high school seniors who demonstrate civic responsibility and academic achievement despite challenges.

Katlin graduated cum laude with Graduation/Program Distinction Honors from Stockton University with a Bachelor of Science in Social Work. She graduated from the Rutgers Law School – Camden with a Juris Doctorate.
