Profile
As Chief Executive Officer of the firm, co-Chair of the Casino & iGaming Law practice group and Chairman of the Government Services group, Lloyd D. Levenson has been instrumental in developing and implementing all aspects of gaming law including focusing on the newest legal developments in iGaming, sports wagering legal matters, mobile gaming matters, and pari-mutuel betting issues.
Experience
As a trial attorney accomplished in complex casino regulatory matters, Lloyd is positioned to uniquely address a broad range of industry legal issues. His clients include casinos, sovereign governments, casino professionals, and suppliers to the casino industry.
From defending clients in class action suits to winning a landmark Federal Appeals Court case, Lloyd takes on many of the industry’s key cases.
He practices in state and federal courts in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and the United States Supreme Court.
Beginning his career as Assistant Essex County Prosecutor and Chief Trial Attorney for the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office, Lloyd also served as Chief Assistant for the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office and as counsel to the Atlantic County Chiefs of Police.

- In 2010, Stockton University established the Lloyd D. Levenson Institute for Gaming, Hospitality, and Tourism (LIGHT) in its School of Business which combines research, training, and management to serve a critical aspect of New Jersey’s economy.
- A former President and Trustee of the International Association of Gaming Advisors (IAGA), Lloyd currently serves as a Counselor for this worldwide organization.
- Twice serving as Chairman of the Casino Law Section of the New Jersey Bar Association, Lloyd was selected by the U.S. Virgin Islands government to serve as its advisor in the development of casino gaming on St. Croix.
