Louis Niedelman, a founding partner of the law firm of Cooper Levenson, has been practicing law since 1969. He has concentrated his practice in insurance defense litigation, representing dozens of insurance carriers, their insureds and self-insureds. He has handled over 2000 cases in his career involving product liability, construction defect, fall down accidents, motor vehicle accidents, insurance coverage litigation, professional malpractice litigation, condominium litigation, premises security litigation and dram shop litigation. He has tried over 225 matters before juries with a majority of successful results for his clients.
His extensive trial work has earned him acceptance into the prestigious professional organization of the America Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA). Lawyers can only be admitted into this select group by invitation and must meet rigorous requirements including not only their extensive trial experience and abilities, but also their civility and professionalism.
He was certified by the New Jersey Supreme Court as a Civil Trial Attorney in 1983 and has been recertified every five years to date. This certification and the re-certifications require the completion of extensive applications with endorsements from fellow trial practitioners and trial judges.
