Profile
Michael Salad is a partner in the firm and an attorney in Cooper Levenson’s Business, Tax and Estate Planning practice groups.
He concentrates his practice on business transactions, tax matters, elder law, probate administration, asset protection, real estate, special needs planning, and estate planning. Michael holds an LL.M. in Estate Planning and Elder Law.
Michael regularly travels between Florida and the Northeast and assists clients seeking to change residency. He is a frequent presenter to the New Jersey Society of CPAs and Opportunity Village in Las Vegas, NV.
Michael earned his B.A. in Criminal Justice at The George Washington University, J.D. at Nova Southeastern University, and LL.M. at Western New England University.
He is admitted to practice in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Florida, New York, Connecticut, Maryland, Georgia, the District of Columbia, Massachusetts, and Alabama.
Michael is also admitted to the United States District Court of New Jersey and the United States District Court for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida.
A sports enthusiast, Michael was previously a nationally ranked squash player and is an avid golfer.

PCI Gaming Authority D/B/A Windcreek Hospitality, an authority of the Poarch Band of Creek Indians $1.3 billion acquisition of Sands Bethlehem in 2019.
Linode LLC in its sale to Akamai Technologies Inc. for approximately $900 million in 2022.
Michael began his career at Cooper Levenson as a summer clerk. Before working at Cooper Levenson, Michael worked for the United States Attorney’s Office Criminal Division of the District of Maryland and Borgata Hotel, Casino & Spa.
He works primarily within the tax law department, concentrating on estate planning, probate administration, asset protection and special needs planning.
