Attorney Amy Houck-Elco will be co-presenting at the NJSBA and NJASA Spring School Law Forum on Thursday, June 11, 2026.
This annual forum brings together school law attorneys, board members, chief school administrators, business administrators, board secretaries, and other education stakeholders for updates on key developments in school law, including case law, legislation, and ethics.
Amy’s session, titled “How to Make Parting More Sweet Than Sorrow: Procedures for Separating from BOE Employees and Superintendents,” will take place from 9:15 a.m. to 10:10 a.m.
The presentation will focus on practical, legally sound approaches to navigating employee and superintendent separations within school districts—an area where process, documentation, and compliance are especially critical.
