Lichtenstein was a featured presenter at the New Jersey Business and Industry Association (NJBIA) seminar, Difficult Decisions: Unemployment, Severance & Everything In-Between, Friday, June 24, 8:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Forsgate Country Club, 375 Forsgate Drive, Monroe, N.J.
This half-day seminar provided an overview of the impact of the unemployment insurance system on employers, what notices must be provided prior to termination, how to appeal improper unemployment claims, the benefits of severance packages, and more.
Lichtenstein serves as chairman of the firm’s Employment & Labor and Casino & Hospitality Industry Defense Litigation practice groups, and is a partner at Cooper Levenson. He regularly appears in matters in the state and federal courts of New Jersey and before the administrative agencies, which address employment issues. He is based in the firm’s Atlantic City office.
