Responsibilities

• Assists Attorney in initial case evaluation and development of litigation strategy.
• Represents clients in litigation.
• Conducts extensive legal research and drafts correspondences, pleadings, discovery and motions.
• Prepares for and conducts depositions.
• Prepares for and participates in mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
• Assists in preparing settlement agreements, motions, and briefs.
• Performs other related duties, as assigned.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Bar admission in the state of Nevada, required.
• 1-3 years’ experience in civil/defense litigation, preferred. Willing to training, provided the right candidate has prior legal experience, is a quick study and is eager to learn.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft persuasive legal documents and communicate complex legal concepts clearly.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Must enjoy the fast pace of handling complex litigation matters.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail oriented and a motivated self-starter.
• Ability to work well in a team environment and interact closely with clients.
• Must be comfortable in the courtroom, both State and Federal Court.
• Experience with NetDocs and Time Matters, helpful.

Schedule and Pay Range:

• Full-time
• Pay Range:  $90,000-$125,000

Work Location: In person; Las Vegas, NV
