Cooper Levenson is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Commercial Litigation Attorney to join our team. Bar admission in the states of New Jersey and Delaware. This position is ideal for a dedicated attorney who is passionate about commercial litigation and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Requires meticulous attention to detail and comprehensive legal expertise across multiple practice areas, handling complex litigation, providing expert legal counsel, and representing clients in a variety of commercial disputes. Chancery experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manages and oversees all phases of commercial litigation cases from inception to resolution.
  • Conducts thorough legal research using LexisNexis, Westlaw, and other legal research tools to support case strategies.
  • Drafts and reviews legal documents including pleadings, motions, briefs, and settlement agreements with precision and clarity.
  • Advises clients on a broad spectrum of legal issues such as estate planning, environmental law, landlord-tenant law, family law, securities law, personal injury law, & regulations, patent law, and immigration law.
  • Develops case strategies through negotiation and advocacy to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
  • Represents clients in court proceedings, mediations, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations.
  • Collaborates with colleagues within the law office to ensure comprehensive legal support across practice areas.
  • Maintains detailed case files and ensure compliance with all procedural requirements.
  • Stays current on evolving laws and regulations relevant to various practice areas through continuous research and professional development.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Bar admission in the states of New Jersey and Delaware, required.
  • Proven expertise in litigation across multiple practice areas.
  • Strong negotiation skills to effectively advocate for clients’ interests.
  • Proficiency in legal research platforms such as LexisNexis and Westlaw for case preparation.
  • Excellent writing skills with the ability to produce clear and persuasive legal drafting.
  • Ability to analyze complex legal issues quickly and develop strategic solutions.
  • Effective communication skills for client interaction and courtroom advocacy.
  • Must be skilled in Outlook, Word, Excel, Lexis Research and Adobe
  • Familiarity with NetDocs, a plus.

Schedule and Pay Range:

  • Full-time
  • Pay Range:  $100,000-$200,000

Work Location: Based out of Cherry Hill, NJ and Wilmington, DE offices.
