Responsibilities

• Maintains a master deposition calendar in Microsoft Outlook.
• Confirms depositions, daily.
• Reschedules postponed depositions and maintains correspondence with all interested parties, along the way.
• Schedules court reporters, translators and other vendors for depositions, as per client’s request.
• Works with Support Services to ensure required meeting room setups are confirmed.
• Maintains conference room schedules and posts the schedule, nightly, for the following day.
• Performs backup receptionist duties, as required, handling incoming phone calls with professionalism and courtesy and demonstrating strong phone etiquette.
• Performs Legal Assistant/Administrative responsibilities, to include calendaring, preparing legal documents and correspondences, etc., as necessary.
• Performs other duties, as assigned.

Requirements

• Prior Law Firm experience, required.
• Prior Deposition Coordinator experience, preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
• Familiarity with NetDocs, a plus.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are crucial for success in this position.

Schedule and Pay Range:

• Day shift; Monday to Friday 9am-5pm
• Full-time; 37.5 hours a week
• Pay Range:  $20.00-$27.00 per hour
