Benjamin P. Ojserkis practices in Cooper Levenson’s Atlantic City office as a member of the firm’s Cannabis and Land Use Practice Groups. While in law school, Ben was awarded a Governor’s Executive Fellowship through the Eagleton Institute of Politics. He also served as Staff Editor for the Rutgers Journal of Law and Religion, was a semi-finalist in the Hunter Moot Court Competition, and was selected as the Eagleton Student Representative Commencement Speaker.
Ben’s experience includes researching and drafting pleadings in complex business litigation matters, conducting cannabis-related legal research and analysis, assisting with applications before the New Jersey Cannabis Regulatory Commission, advising on municipal cannabis matters, and supporting health law and corporate transactions.
He previously served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Hon. Anthony M. Massi, Superior Court of New Jersey, Civil Division, Mercer County Vicinage, Trenton. Ben also worked as a Law and Policy Fellow in the New Jersey Department of Health, Division of Medicinal Marijuana. In addition, he gained judicial experience as a Judicial Intern to the Hon. Bernard DeLury, P.J., and the Hon. Donna Taylor in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Criminal Division, Mays Landing.
Ben was selected for inclusion in the 2023 New Jersey Super Lawyers Rising Stars list.
