Michael Salad is a Partner at Cooper Levenson and a member of the firm’s Business, Tax, and Estate Planning practice groups. He focuses on business transactions, tax matters, estate and asset planning, probate administration, elder law, special needs planning, and real estate. Michael holds an LL.M. in Estate Planning and Elder Law, reflecting his advanced study in these areas.
Michael regularly advises clients across Florida and the Northeast, assisting those seeking to manage residency matters and implement effective tax and estate strategies. He is a frequent presenter to professional audiences, including the New Jersey Society of CPAs and Opportunity Village in Las Vegas, NV, discussing estate planning, tax considerations, and elder law.
Michael began his career at Cooper Levenson as a summer clerk and previously worked at the United States Attorney’s Office, Criminal Division of the District of Maryland, and the Borgata Hotel, Casino & Spa. Within the firm, he focuses on estate planning, probate administration, asset protection, and special needs planning, helping clients preserve and plan for their wealth with care and precision.
Outside of the office, Michael is a devoted sports enthusiast. A former nationally ranked squash player and avid golfer, he brings the same discipline and focus to his practice that he applied to athletics.
