Jennifer is a practicing attorney in our Appeals practice group. She brings more than twenty years of experience in civil and criminal appeals.
Jennifer came to Cooper Levenson in 2017. She represents clients from all the practice groups at Cooper Levenson who have matters on appeal, or whose matters require legal research. As a result, Jennifer has extensive experience in a broad range of practice areas.
Prior to 2017, Jennifer practiced in the areas of appeals and post-conviction relief, including all civil appeals, criminal appeals for the Office of the Public Defender, and quasi-criminal appeals for the Office of Parental Representation. In addition, Jennifer has previously represented small businesses in transactional matters, and represented clients in personal injury litigation and appeals.
Jennifer was an Adjunct Professor at Stockton University where she taught Argument and Persuasion in the Social Sciences.
After law school, Jennifer served as a Judicial Clerk for the Hon. Steven Z. Kleiner in the N.J. Superior Court, Appellate Division in Atlantic City, New Jersey. There, she wrote memos for the four judges on the panel, edited opinions for Judge Kleiner and Judge Dennis Braithwaite, and assisted in writing the judicial opinion in Hernandez v. Don Bosco, 322 N.J. Super. 1 (1999), a case that involved expelling a student from a private Catholic high school.
Jennifer graduated from Rutgers Law School – Newark and received her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Jennifer is admitted to the Supreme Court of the United States, the Third Circuit Court of Appeals, and the District Court of New Jersey. Jennifer is licensed to practice in New Jersey (1998).
Jennifer has been named to the Board of Trustees for the Bay Atlantic Symphony.
