Atlantic City, N.J. – September 12, 2014 –The Color Run, one of the largest event series in the world, will be returning to Bader Field in Atlantic City on October 11, 2014, with a portion of the proceeds benefitting The Boys & Girls Club of Atlantic City. The Color Run Atlantic City will donate $40 to the club for each person who volunteers to work the event.
“This is an easy way to contribute to a worthwhile cause by simply spending a few hours at the event,” said Rona Kaplan, Cooper Levenson, a frequent volunteer with the Boys & Girls Club of Atlantic City. The Boys & Girls Club provides resources for the development of young people, from all backgrounds, to realize their full potential as responsible, caring, adults.
The Color Run Atlantic City begins at 9 a.m. at Bader Field, 501 N. Albany Avenue in Atlantic City, N.J. Registration is open for individual runners and teams. Volunteers may register on the website athttp://thecolorrun.com/atlantic-city/ by submitting a name and email address.
