Donio, Esq., partner at Cooper Levenson Attorneys at Law will be among the presenting faculty at the Camden County Bar Association’s program, “Dyslexia and the Law: Understanding the Rights of Students with Dyslexia & Related Disabilities,” on Wednesday, March 12, 2014 from 4 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. at the Tavistock Country Club in Haddonfield, N.J. Donio chairs Cooper Levenson’s Education Law practice group and presently serves as solicitor for several area Boards of Education.
Research suggests that about 17 percent of the population has Dyslexia, one of the most common developmental reading disorders. Attendees will learn about new legislation on dyslexia, legal requirements for intervention, special education law, interventions and services, and issues for students with high academic potential suffering from dyslexia and related disabilities.
