Cooper Levenson Announces New Partners

June 12, 2014 – Three Atlantic City attorneys are the newest partners at Cooper Levenson. The board voted in Amy L. Houck, Amy E. Rudley and Michael A. Gibson, announced the firm today.
“These individuals have proven themselves in terms of their professionalism, their expertise and their dedication,” said Kenneth J. Calemmo, Jr., chief operating officer, Cooper Levenson. “We are only as good as our top attorneys and these are some of the best and brightest.”
Amy L. Houck works in the firm’s Education Law Practice Group representing School Boards, Charter Schools and education related organizations. She also is an Adjunct Professor for the Masters of Arts in Educational Leadership Graduate Program of the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey where she teaches School Law, and a faculty member for the Southern Regional Institute and Educational Technology Training Center at the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey where she lectures on a variety of school related issues. Houck resides in Mullica Township, N.J.
Amy E. Rudley focuses on the areas of employment law, including allegations of discrimination, retaliation, sexual harassment, hostile work environment, as well as other allegations of unfair practices. She also drafts handbooks regarding company employment practices and decisions. Rudley devotes a portion of her practice to casino law and defense litigation, including civil rights litigation and premises liability. Amy serves as a Board Member for the Pitman Education Foundation and resides in Pitman, N.J.
Michael A. Gibson is a member of Cooper Levenson’s Plaintiff’s Personal Injury practice group. He specializes in representing those who have been injured as a result of construction, motor vehicle, and slip and fall personal injury matters; including catastrophic injuries and wrongful death. He also is a co-founder of SoPro-Atlantic City, a young professional networking organization in the Greater Atlantic City region, serves as a Board Member for the Greater Atlantic City Chamber of Commerce and AtlantiCare’s Foundation Board, and is a member of the New Jersey Association for Justice (NJAJ). Gibson resides in Linwood, N.J.
