Eric Browndorf is a Partner at Cooper Levenson and serves as Chair of the firm’s Bankruptcy & Financial Restructuring practice group. Since 1984, he has focused exclusively on banking, creditors’ rights, bankruptcy, and commercial litigation.
Eric represents a wide range of clients, including unsecured creditors’ committees, banks, trustees, and national and international real estate developers. He played a key role in representing creditors’ committees in high-profile restructuring proceedings, including the Greate Bay Hotel and Casino, Southern Jersey Airlines, and the Claridge Hotel and Casino. He also served on the United States Trustee’s private panel of trustees.
In addition to his practice, Eric has shared his knowledge as an adjunct professor in Business Law at Richard Stockton College of New Jersey and at Atlantic Cape Community College, helping prepare the next generation of legal and business professionals.
Eric has lectured throughout the United States on creditor’s rights to attorneys, bankers, accountants, trustees and national consumer and commercial lending institutions.
