Jim has served as Chief Legal Officer at a social media detection and monitoring software company, where he provided strategic counsel on all legal and governance matters including data and privacy law concerns, while managing the HR and risk departments along with the companies’ domestic and foreign subsidiaries.

Prior to his in-house role, Jim was a Partner and trial attorney with a national law firm, where he concentrated his practice on complex commercial and catastrophic tort cases with a focus on product liability, aviation and maritime accidents and claims. He also litigated coverage disputes and counseled clients on compliance matters including warranty and product warnings.

Jim has worked with a diverse client base including Fortune 50 International companies, NPOs, and businesses in a wide variety of industries.

Jim started his legal career in Atlantic County as a law clerk to the Honorable Daryl F. Todd, Sr., J.S.C. for the Civil Division of the Superior Court of New Jersey.
