With a keen eye for detail and a career spanning four decades, Robert Salad is recognized as a trusted authority in business and tax law. Since joining Cooper Levenson in 1984, Rob has built a practice defined by precision, strategy, and unwavering client commitment. He became a partner in 1988 and today serves as the firm’s President and Chair of its Tax and Business Practice Group.

Rob’s practice encompasses the full spectrum of business and tax planning, with particular emphasis on mergers, acquisitions, and customized transactional structuring. He represents a diverse range of clients—including public companies, closely held businesses, and tax-exempt organizations—guiding them through complex challenges with clarity and foresight.

In addition to transactional matters, Rob advises on income tax planning, entity formation, commercial transactions, estate planning and administration, and litigation, as well as representation before federal, state, and local taxing authorities. Known for balancing technical excellence with practical insight, he helps clients not only navigate legal complexities but also achieve their broader business objectives.
