Lew Schweller is a seasoned real estate attorney with more than 45 years of experience in both transactions and litigation. A significant portion of his practice is devoted to litigating title insurance claims and disputes on behalf of a national title insurance underwriter and its insureds.
Lew’s background spans commercial and residential real estate, business transactions, and litigation, where he has represented financial institutions, commercial borrowers, real estate developers, and a wide range of businesses.
In addition, Lew has been retained as an expert defense witness in multiple cases involving attorney malpractice claims arising from real estate transactions, underscoring his standing as a trusted authority in the field.
Lew served as an Editor of the Boston University Law Review and published “Accessory Uses and the Customary Requirement.”
