Scott L. Stonehocker, based in the firm’s Las Vegas office, is a member of the firm’s Defense Litigation Practice Group.
Scott earned his Juris Doctor from the California Western School of Law in San Diego. He completed his B.S. in Biology/Chemistry from the University of Nevada – Las Vegas. During law school, Scott served as a Legal Intern for the United States Marine Corps. He also participated in a Summer Law Program in Edinburgh, Scotland.
Scott is admitted to practice in the State of Nevada, as well as in the U.S. District Court, District of Nevada.
Scott’s experience includes extensive work on complex construction defects and insurance defense matters. His experience also includes product defects including Mesothelioma litigation,} proper owner liability, professional liability, commercial bond claims, subrogation actions, and interpleader actions. Scott has served as General Counsel for a concrete contracting firm.
In addition, Scott has represented bonding companies in multiple jurisdictions in Nevada and California. His experience as a consultant and contract attorney includes limited liability corporation formation and representing clents before various governmental agencies and authorities.
