Katlin Trout is an associate in the firm and a member of the Casino & Hospitality Industry Defense Law and Employment and Labor Law Practice Groups. She also handles Commercial Litigation matters and assists in the areas of Education Law and Tax Law. She is based in the Atlantic City office.
Katlin graduated cum laude with Graduation/Program Distinction Honors from Stockton University with a Bachelor of Science in Social Work. She graduated from the Rutgers Law School – Camden with a Juris Doctorate.
Katlin is admitted to practice in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
Prior to joining Cooper Levenson, Katlin served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Donna M. Taylor in the Atlantic County Superior Court – Criminal Division.
Katlin was a Summer Associate in the firm in 2020, assisting various departments including Casino Defense, Tax, Estate Planning, and Education Law.
Prior to joining Cooper Levenson, Katlin gained significant experience in the casino industry.
Katlin serves as the Co-Chair of the Atlantic County Mental Health Advisory Board, a volunteer board that serves as an advocate and advisor to the Division of Mental Health and Addiction Services.
She also serves on the Cooper Levenson Foundation Scholarship Committee, formed to grant scholarships to high school seniors who demonstrate civic responsibility and academic achievement despite challenges.
Katlin is a mentor for the Stockton Women’s Leadership Council.
Katlin is a member of the Atlantic County Bar Association.
